Vidya Sahayata: Investing in Rural Education

The Col. Bhim Singh Foundation believes education is the surest path to rural prosperity. Through the Vidya Sahayata Programme, it works to ensure that no child in Fatehabad district is denied learning because of financial hardship.

The programme provides scholarships for promising students from low-income families, distributes books, uniforms, and stationery, and funds infrastructure upgrades at government schools — from classrooms to clean drinking water.

A child who can stay in school changes the trajectory of an entire family. By investing early — in the village school, the government classroom, the first-generation learner — the Foundation invests in a Haryana that lifts itself.

The Foundation plans to expand the programme each year, working closely with school staff and panchayats to reach the students who need support most.
